Insurance Interests in Meta Ads: U.S. Audience Sizes by Age and Gender (2026)

Introduction

This report summarizes U.S. insurance related interest audiences available for targeting in Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), split by age and gender. The data was collected via the Meta Marketing API using the lower bound of the available audience forecast within each interest segment, with no placement restrictions inside Facebook and Instagram, and without including Audience Network.

Audience estimates in Ads Manager may differ. Reach can change based on overlaps with other targeting layers, creative and delivery constraints, and selected placements.

Insurance interest categories

Category level interests (life, vehicle, home, pet, travel, and related insurance topics) are typically the most scalable pools. They can work like broad prospecting segments, but intent depth varies widely inside each category. If lead quality matters, qualify early with creative and landing page context (for example, “compare quotes,” “switch policies,” “bundling,” or “family coverage” messaging) rather than relying on the interest alone.

Insurance brands and providers

Provider level interests are smaller than category audiences, but they can add precision when you need a clearer context (for example, switching carriers, comparing plans, or eligibility messaging). In practice, these segments tend to be more sensitive to overlap and delivery constraints, so treat them as “qualifier layers” rather than the only source of scale.
