Pinterest Opens Programmatic Deals for DV360, Amazon Ads, and Yahoo DSP
On October 26, 2026, Pinterest announced the general availability of Programmatic Deals in select regions. The new capability lets advertisers purchase Pinterest ad inventory through third-party demand-side platforms (DSPs), rather than relying exclusively on Pinterest Ads Manager.
Programmatic Deals provides access to selected display and video placements. It is primarily intended for enterprise advertisers managing media buying across multiple channels through a unified programmatic platform.
How Pinterest Advertising Was Purchased Before Programmatic Deals
Advertisers traditionally managed Pinterest campaigns through Pinterest Ads Manager or integrations with the platform. Running ads required creating campaigns, choosing audiences, setting budgets, and managing creatives within the Pinterest ecosystem.
Companies using Google Display & Video 360, Amazon Ads, or other DSPs could not buy standard Pinterest inventory through the same programmatic deals they used to access other publishers.
Pinterest Inventory Becomes Available Through Four DSPs
Pinterest has opened selected ad inventory to Programmatic Deals. The following buying platforms are supported:
Magnite is the primary supply-side platform (SSP) partner. It provides the technology connecting Pinterest inventory with demand-side buying platforms.
In Latin America and Asia Pacific, Pinterest also uses Google Ad Manager as an SSP.
According to industry coverage, Programmatic Deals supports private marketplaces and preferred deals, while Programmatic Guaranteed is still being tested.
The new buying option complements Pinterest Ads Manager rather than replacing it.
Where Pinterest Programmatic Deals Are Available
At launch, Programmatic Deals is available in three regions: North America, South America, and Asia Pacific.
Europe is not included in the announced geographic availability. Pinterest has not published a complete country list, universal minimum budgets, or a single rate card for placements.
Advertisers interested in access need to contact their Pinterest representative.
Moroccanoil Campaign Reports Additional Reach and Higher CTR
Pinterest shared results from a June 2026 Moroccanoil campaign run through Amazon Ads using Magnite. Adding Pinterest inventory to the brand’s existing display and video placements produced the following reported results:
These results reflect one advertiser and one campaign. They should not be treated as a universal performance forecast for Programmatic Deals.
In particular, the new-to-brand buyer figure does not, by itself, establish a causal, incremental increase in buyers.
What Advertisers Need to Consider
Programmatic Deals enables advertisers to add Pinterest to existing programmatic media plans while using familiar DSP buying and reporting workflows.
However, availability depends on the region, the DSP, and the terms of the specific deal.
Buying Pinterest inventory through a DSP is also different from running standard campaigns in Pinterest Ads Manager. Available ad formats, targeting controls, and measurement methods may differ.
For businesses coordinating display and video investment across multiple platforms, the change creates another way to include Pinterest in centralized media planning and evaluate its contribution alongside other inventory sources.
